It takes a lot of hands to make Halloween at Emerson happen, so please consider volunteering to help turn Emerson into a Halloween dream for the students. See below for more information and volunteer opportunities!

ABOUT HALLOWEEN AT EMERSON

Every fall, parent volunteers take a weekend to convert the halls of Emerson into a Halloween wonderland.  This school-wide experience is one of the higlights of the year for our students, and is up for the entire week prior to Halloween, ending in a Friday celebration with a costume parade, classroom activities , and a parent-run fun fair with activities and games for the  students. This event is not only fun for the kids, but a great experience for the parent volunteers to get creative while meeting others in a festive environment.

Breakdown Volunteer

Looking for about 20 people to help us take down the decorations after the school celebrations. We will begin takedown the morning of November 1st.

Pumpkins and Mums

A few days before the decoration crew starts,  we will be looking for pumpkins and potted mums to help decorate the school.  If you would like to donate some of these festive items, click below to arrange a drop off.

Decoration Volunteer

Looking for about 20 people to join us in decorating the school for Halloween.  These Volunteers will attend the decorating and work with the sub committee captains to create their vision in the assigned school area. Dates are October 21st - 22nd.
